hello ppl!!!
if there's any ard.. anyway.. i went to japan again this yr for the first two weeks of dec and yes.. im back!

anyway.. this yr's japan trip was fun!!! went disneyland, saw snow and had a fun time shoppin!!
however, me, this big idiot almost cost me and my brother to miss our flight to japan... hehe.. i saw the wrong time.. and was late for check in... but lucky for us, God was watchin over us and got two seats by japan airline instead of the united airlines... heehee.. upgrade ya...
the both of us took a diff flight from my aunt's family and we were rather on our own... it was fun!! hehe.. reached narita airport, tokyo, find our way for the bus to disney resorts... and finally, met up wif my aunt... it was the rest day for the first day in jap..
2nd day- DISNEYLAND!!!!! it's my dream since young to go disneyland!! my cousins however, didn have the same thinkin as mine... their generation is more of pokemon and bleach.. :p had a great time in disnelyland! took photo wif pluto and chip but didn get to see mickey and minnie... it was super crowded over at disneyland but it was very fun! a dream come true.. the whole day was dedicated to disneyland and our dinner was nice too! and had to rest for the third day...
3rd day- DISNEYSEA!! this was the place where all the thrill rides were... tower of terror, indiana jones, journey to centre of the earth...... it was a day of thrill and fun rides!! it was less crowded compared to disneyland and of cuz.. good for us la! dun need to queue so long for the rides... :p the theme for disneysea of cuz was based on sea theme la.. haha.. nice scenery and the weather was very nice too! bought souvenirs and sweets!! and had to go back hotel to pack for hokkaido the next day!
4th day- travelling day... made our way to haneda airport for the domestic flight to hokkaido... the temp at tokyo was 10 degree and hokkaido was 2 degree!!! lucky my aunt book the bus in advance for the rusutsu ski resort if not we'll be stuck at the airport.. it was only 5pm but the sky was soooo dark.. the sun sets early there la.. on our way to the resort, we could see snow covered on the road... it was my first time lookin at snow and it was a fantastic feeling! after ard 1hr45min ride, we reached!! it was damn cold la.. our body have yet to climatise and tt's y lor... we were stayin at a lodge instead of the main hotel building and the experience was so fun! our luggage had to be lug all the way on snow to our lodge which was quite far from the main buildin, the poor guy who pulled the cart was so poor thing la.. we had near 8 pieces of big luggage on the cart.. and it was slippery.. first time steppin on snow was thrilling.. i just hate the slip and fall part.. :p reach the lodge finally and decided to head back to the main building for dinner.. had jap ramen for dinner and it was nice:) we had the same thing on our second day too.. build snowman outside our lodge and had fun smashing other ppl's snowman... haha.. evil i noe... zhong was the culprit.. haha.. our fingers were frozen but it was fun!!
5th day- SKIING TIME!!!! morning was a nice one as i got to see real snow falling down from sky.. it was really nice snowflakes!! REAL ones ok!! it really has those 6-8 edges.. took photos and enjoyed the scenery.. first time skiing and the experince was a painful but fun one:) had problem walkin wif the ski boots and it was tight and uncomfortable.. didn noe how to ski oso so tried to figure here and there.. my brother alvin and my cousin zhong were so clever la.. it was the first time for my brother too but he got the hang of it quite quickly.. and the two of them went up to the slopes and were happily skiing while the remainin 3 of us, lyn, eugene and me, tried to figure our way.. we were cheated to go up to the beginner's slope as the two 'experts' one said it was ok and manageable... the cable up was a one way thing.. we cant take it back down if we decided to back out on skiing down the slope... the 5 of us were stuck up there on the slope scoldin and decidin whether to go down or not.. there's not much choice actually.. one was to ski down the other, take out the skiis and walk down.. the latter was a stupid idea la.. so high up leh.. by the time walk down i think nightfall le lor.. :p zhong went first and i was to go second... didn noe wat happen to gene lyn and alvin as i was screamin down my way... it was super fast la!! and very cold!!!! the scene was nice though.. very white.. but i knew i didn had a good control over my skiis... haha.. dun even noe how to stop la!!
i was suppose to cut through to the other gentler family slope while in the middle of the course but i couldn stop and there were so many expert skiiers and snowboarders zooming pass me.. little kids oso leh.. so pai seh.. and ya.. end up gg down all the way... and... towards the end.. i didn really noe how to stop, and this bunch of ok la.. cute jap guys, were sitting down on the patch in front of me where i was suppose to stop!!! i dun really noe how to turn to the other side and i knew i was gg to ski into them if i'd continued to move on. so.. i decided to fall off my ski... haah! idiot right.. i noe... ended up my ski came off, im covered wif snow and i got bruises on my thighs.. :p so paiseh lor.. haiz... anyway.. played a while more and then decided to return the skis.. headed for dinner and rest time!! was aching all over la... hehe.. my bro and zhong was sayin tt the snowman we built was quite sturdy and strong.. some snowboarders tried to crash it down (our was beside the ski slope) but got knocked down by the snowman instead..
6th day- travelling day and shopping... our last day at the ski resort.. went for jap breakfast and took the bus to sapporo... it was quite late when we reached and had to figure out where to go next.. the temp in sapporo was ard 1-2 degree too.. decided to travel to susukino, shopping time!! had mac's double cheeseburger and it was nice! much better than the ones we have in spore.. walked to nijo market, see fish, crab.. and it was basically and slack day la... much time was taken up by the travelling le...
7th day- sapporo clock tower, tv tower, sapporo beer factory, museum.. decided to get the tour package for the next day.. was at sapporo shopping too.. alot to see and it was snowing oso! hehe.. i fell down once on the road.. ahha.. so embarrasing la.. was running after the bus and then.. ya... but... wrong bus.. :p had beef bowl rice for dinner. very nice!!
8th day- Otaru tour! went to the famous glass factory street, musical box musuem, wine shop, mt tengu, local food.. bought myself two musical box! one is snow white's music and the other smap's song... so happy.. hehe... took alot of pictures, had corns.. very sweet.. took the tram up mt tengu.. aka tian gou shan... very scary.. the tram was on only a cable... it was more of a local tour and got to see most of the tourists attraction.. met alot of sporeans oso... by listening to their slang, singlish, and the clothes they wear.. we too.. very typical.. haha.. saw the famous canal.. took pics, eat.. walk... dinner and the evenin was the last night in hokkaido.. really miss hokkaido.. didn get to onsen though.. :(
9th day- travelling back to tokyo... our body had already climatise to the temp of near 1 degree and hence, the temp over at tokyo, 10 degree, was quite ok.. macham like air con like tt.. haha.. stayed at a very high class hotel, mitsui garden hotel, at ginza.. walk the ginza streets, had the japanese food, katsu and beef curry rice! had very nice salmon too! bought a adidas bag!! ard 9500 jap yen.. which is S$100.. hehe... it was a 'only available in japan' bag.. so.. i got it!!! haha.. love the bag man!! alvin got a pair of adidas shoes too.. we were really happy lor.. haha.. beamin leh.. lol..
10th day- real SHOPPING DEAL!!! went to ameya yokocho.. sth like tt la.. it was like a market place, with all the food and items of cheap cheap prices!! got tidbits for the friends, bought wallet, chocolates... haha.. happy happy.. hehe.. the afternoon was to the hillside of the tokyo towers... nth much though.. went to shibuya.. the very hip zone for youngsters.. saw many diff types of ppl, dressing, hairstyles.. very scare tt will meet any gangsters... haha.. they all look ya.. ermm.. hip la.. our dinner for the night was the most not worthied one.. costs a bomb too... haiz.. went to get a crepe after tt.. and had cup noodles too... it was our last night in japan and well.. i was quite sad la... this time not much nice nice scenery compared to last yr's osaka trip.. it was fun nonetheless.. took picture of all the things i'd bought as usual... hehe... and had a mini onsen in the toilet.. got bubble bath ma.. :p
11th day- famous tokyo shrine and last min shop at the ameya yokocho for the guys.. they were slpin on the previous day while we shopped.. quite penniless le... so didn really bought anything on the last day... went back to hotel. packed.. and time to go... hate to bid goodbye but there was no choice.. i love japan so much lor.. haiz.. went to narita airport to check in and it was really a bye to japan....
ok.. this is a very long entry.. no pic.. abit boring i noe.. but it's for my own remembrance oso.. so long for now.. have to go prepare christmas presents for my love ones.. u noe hu u are.. haha! so long! happy holidays and merry christmas!!
